I stain porcelain different colours and make blocks of patterned clay that I can slice and roll into sheets from which I make my bowls and towers, jewellery and wind chime mobiles.  I am fascinated by the different effects I can achieve using this method. No two pieces will be the same or repeatable. Each block of clay will produce a sequence of work and each block will be unique. I enjoy this part control and part happenstance.
